A former intellectual property and public interest lawyer at Latham & Watkins, Barry Stricke hung up his pinstripes to pursue an MFA in Directing at NYU. Since then his films have screened and won awards at international festivals and venues around the world, including Clermont-Ferrand, Sao Paulo and the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art. Barry was also selected as a finalist in Esquire Magazine's Celluloid Style Competition for his short film And The Sun Stopped Shining, and directed Heartburn, which won the top short film prize at Worldfest Houston. Sari Heifetz Stricke earned her MFA in Screenwriting from the American Film Institute in Hollywood, CA. Sari has completed several feature scripts and a graphic novel adapted from her short story The Frozen Man. Sari lives in Hollywood and is writing two romantic comedies, one with her husband Barry. |
